Hidden Creek by Wyndham Vacation Rentals

Hidden Creek condos are situated at the base of The Canyons Resort village, which provides a few communal features for all staying guests. The cozy, year-round hot tub has a small concrete patio and a couple of plastic chairs. There are also tennis courts and a pool, which are open in warmer months. The condos -- made of beige vinyl siding and with small wooden decks -- are set amidst quiet grounds dotted with birch trees and and tall evergreens, with stone sidewalks leading throughout. There's plenty of parking in the outdoor lot, with chairlifts to the resort zipping overhead, and snow-capped mountains often visible in the distance. There's no communal area, though there is a small rental/reception office with comfy leather sofas, knotty wood-paneled walls, a gray stone fireplace, and free coffee, cookies, and tourism brochures for guests -- who tend to be groups of friends or families with children in town for skiing and outdoor fun. 

The condos are surrounded by similar units and not much else, with open space extending beyond the development, and several high-end resorts a couple blocks away. There's no shopping or dining within the immediate walking area. The lifts of Canyons Resort are within walking distance, although this is not a ski-in/ski-out location. A free citywide shuttle stops on a road near the complex. Main Street in Park City -- with shops, restaurants, and galleries -- is a 10-minute shuttle ride or less than five minutes by car. Park City Mountain Resort is a few minutes' drive, and Deer Valley Resort is a five-minute drive or 10 to 15 minutes by shuttle. Salt Lake City International Airport is about 40 minutes away by car.

These two-, three-, and four-bedroom units are closely packed within the property, and while not very spacious inside, they do have two levels. Condos vary in decor and furnishings, but tend to be rustic and simple, with wood furniture, cozy bedding, southwestern tchotchkes, and framed landscape and nature prints on the walls. Arched doorways and pitched ceilings lend warm ambience, and the units are equipped to function as homes. Each has a kitchen with full-size refrigerator, oven/stovetop, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and all the necessary utensils and cookware. Most units have gas fireplaces, washers and dryers, and small decks, some containing barbecue grills. Carpets and furniture are dated in some units, as are tube-style TVs in some bedrooms. Bathrooms are bright but a little small, with shower/tub combos with sliding plastic doors. Units come with linens and towels. Not all units are air-conditioned. Housekeeping is available for a fee. 

The Hidden Creek condos have free Wi-Fi access and outdoor parking. There's also a communal outdoor hot tub that's open year-round. Tennis courts and an outdoor pool are open to guests in the summertime. There's a rental office connected to a sporting good retailer, selling outdoor wear and equipment. The property can assist with lift tickets, ski and snowboard rentals, and grocery shopping services. Airport shuttles and bike rentals are available, with fees. Note that there's no restaurant or bar on the property.
