Bottom Line

The pet-friendly, Millesime Hotel is a fairly simple, yet stylish, three-pearl property that features a beautiful 16th century breakfast room, bar, and Tuscan-style courtyard patio. Twenty contemporary guest rooms include minibars, flat-screen TVs, and coffeemakers along with rainfall showers. Suites offer wonderful city views and a bit more space. It's too bad that breakfast costs extra, though Wi-Fi is free and there is room service within limited hours. The Saint-Germain-des-Pres location is picturesque and close to restaurants, while the Notre Dame Cathedral and Louvre are a 15-minute walk away. Similar features can be found at Hotel le Clos Medicis, closer to the Latin Quarter, where rooms can be had at a lower price point.

Millesime Hotel

Scene

A historic hotel with romantic charm

A contemporary style runs through the welcoming lobby set with Scandinavian-style seating, arched windows, and light wood floors. A small lounge bar provides seating around an attractive fireplace, as well as in a beautiful outdoor patio area with potted flowers and plants. The cozy refurbished breakfast area is actually a 16th century arched cellar with original stone walls and no windows. The hotel added new modern seating and lighting after our visit, matching the contemporary look of the lobby. Hallways are painted gray and all room doors feature contemporary, bold gold numbering. Families with older children occasionally stay here, but most visitors are international couples.

Suites have sofa beds plus exceptional city views.
