Majestic Hotel Spa's facade lives up to it's name. Intricate black iron gates partially cover the rows of windows and potted topiaries under a black marquee add a sophisticated touch. Inside, the lobby has a highly-polished black and white marble
floor and a white reception desk manned by smartly-dressed staff. Hallways are
lined with elegant console tables and plush armchairs. The hotel is
immaculately-kept throughout. Decor is a mix of classic and modern French
style. The furniture is elegant and stylish; and rich, warm colors and fabrics
like velvet and silk give a feel of luxury. The restaurant has a more
contemporary vibe; the setting has been designed to suit the modern French
cuisine on offer. There are brightly colored leather chairs, and water glasses
to match. Splashes of color add vibrancy to the space, without being
garish. 

Majestic Hotel Spa is in an ideal
spot for seeing the sights of Paris. It’s located in an elegant and quiet
neighborhood off the peak tourist streets, but is less than a 10-minute walk to the
Place de l'Etoile and Arc de Triomphe. There are some
top-notch restaurants within a short walk, too. It’s a 10-minute walk
to the Place du Trocadero, the Lido, and the Bateaux Mouches for taking a cruise
along the River Seine. A 20-minute walk will get guests to the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, and
Monceau Park. Also within a few minutes' walk are the Charles de Gaulle - Etoile
train station and various Metro stations including Kleber, George V, and
Boissiere. Once on the Metro, passengers can easily reach the Louvre, Place de la
Concorde, and the Sacre Coeur Basilica in 20 minutes. 

Rooms are comfortable and plush, though some look more updated and stylish than others. Beds are topped with luxurious
touches like a velvet throw and matching, colorful throw pillows. Rooms and bathrooms are
enormous for Paris, and there's lots of closet space. Every room has a hairdryer, DVD
player, free soft drinks in the minibar, air-conditioning and heating, a
flat-screen TV with satellite channels, iPod docking station, free Wi-Fi, and
access to 24-hour room service. Furniture includes high quality materials like inlaid wood and marble topped dressers. Some rooms have a warm gold and red color
scheme, while the larger suites are done in gold and silver, and include extras like a kitchen
with microwave, sink, mini-fridge, kettle, and coffeemaker. They also have a huge
sitting room and dining area, a more modern bathroom with double sinks,
a large walk-in shower, and elegant freestanding roll-top bath. Some rooms are decked out with an impressive marble fireplaces and spacious, secluded balconies. 

The hotel has a huge range of facilities on
offer for guests -- with the spa as the jewel in its crown. It has large and
extremely comfortable loungers surrounding a chic indoor pool. There are two treatment rooms where services
include massages, facials, aromatherapy, and body wraps. There’s also a steam room, Turkish bath, sauna, and a good-size fitness center which is equipped with Technogym equipment and free weights. Aerobics and pilates classes can be taken on-site.
The hotel offers a games room, 24-hour business center and meeting room,
on-site parking, free Wi-Fi, and computer station. Magnum restaurant serves French-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- both the quality and prices are high. Premium Bar is open throughout the day and serves hot drinks, snacks, and artistic cocktails. It’s a
small space but feels cozy and has comfortable armchairs and sofas. The terrace
on the third floor is a nice outdoor space with contemporary tables and chairs
overlooking the pretty street below. The hotel is welcoming and accommodating
for those traveling with children. Babysitting services are available, and
there's a charming playroom complete
with games, DVDs, books, plush animals, and a charming old-fashioned wooden rocking horse.
