Pros
- Stylish, contemporary rooms
- Near Saint Germain's charming cafes and luxury shops
- Within walking distance of the Louvre
- Generous breakfast with champagne, included in many rates
- Wellness area with gym and sauna
- Modern, attractive bar

Cons
- Some rooms are small
- Double beds are two single beds pushed together (common in Europe)
Bottom Line
This upscale and contemporary hotel is situated just off of the Boulevard Saint Germain, within walking distance of cafes, luxury shops, and popular attractions such as the Louvre. The 125 rooms are sophisticated and have thoughtful extras such as slippers, heated bathroom floors, and coffee/tea facilities -- though some are quite small. The wellness area with a sauna, massage services, and small fitness center is a rarity in this price range. It's worth comparing rates with the nearby (and comparable) Hotel Montalembert, though it lacks the K+K Hotel Cayre's wellness features.

Upscale chain hotel in a Beaux Arts building
The K+K Hotel Cayre is part of a small, family-owned European hotel chain, and its style and features meet international expectations for four-pearl properties. The Beaux Arts building has large automatic doors that open onto a large lobby with marble floors, sophisticated furniture, and a neutral color scheme. There is a stylish bar in the corner of the lobby. The wellness area with a sauna, massage room, and fitness center is rare in Paris, even among upscale hotels.
Though the hotel is most popular with couples, it also has features orientated towards a business clientele. including a business lounge and a meeting room equipped with overhead projector and computers.
Location
In the Saint Germain quarter, within walking distance of the Louvre
The K+K Cayre hotel has an excellent location at the crossroads of Boulevard Saint Germain and Boulevard Raspail in the Saint Germain quarter, a Left Bank neighborhood famous for its high-end designer shops and classic Parisian cafes. It's also within walking distance of popular tourist sights; it's only an eight-minute walk to the Musée d'Orsay and a 15-minute walk to the Louvre. The Place de la Concorde is just a few minutes farther. The hotel is close to metro lines 12 and 14, which can shuttle visitors to farther-flung tourist sights such as Montmartre and La Bastille, which are a 20-minute ride away.
Rooms
Modern, stylish rooms with thoughtful extras such as heated bathrooms floors
The 125 rooms are contemporary and stylish. Though lacking the Parisian charm (and quirks) found at some competing properties, they live up to international expectations for an upscale hotel. The quality down duvets are accented with green and purple throws and accent pillows, and notable amenities include slippers and coffee/tea facilities (bathrobes are available upon request). Just note that some of the Classic Rooms are quite small, and the double beds consist of two single beds with individual bedding pushed together. Some rooms have lovely views of the street, while others face an inner courtyard. The clean bathrooms have black marble countertops and heated floors.
Features
A rare wellness area with fitness center and sauna
The K+K Cayre Hotel has a rare wellness area with a massage room, a sauna, and small fitness center with a recumbent bike, an elliptical machine, and a weight training machine. The business lounge has printing services and free newspapers, and there is a meeting room big enough for 20 people with an overhead projector.

Paris in the Springtime: What to Do and Where to Stay
As the song goes, “I love Paris in the springtime.” Of course, Fitzgerald goes on to claim that she loves Paris in every season, and the romantic City of Light is certainly lovely all year long. But it can be argued that the French capital never shines quite so brightly as it does in the…
