Perfect isn’t the best word to describe this small, hostel-style property, but for budget travelers looking for the basics at a more
affordable price than anything else found in central Paris, it fits the bill.
All dorm rooms are clean with their own sinks and there are a couple of private
rooms with private bathrooms. Breakfast is simple but well-organized and the
staff is friendly and helpful.
Scene
Colorful and bright budget-friendly property
Renovated in 2014, this
hostel is bright and colorful. The front entrance is a huge window facing the
street and walls are painted with original artistic murals of dancers
and birds. The lobby has several bright red vinyl stools and an interesting
rope light hovers over the reception desk. The breakfast area lies beyond the
lobby in a narrow, bare room that is nonetheless colorfully painted with modern
ceiling lights; it has a flat-screen TV mounted in the corner. There is a
public toilet and shower area on each of the three floors, all of which are
clean but small and basic with no decoration.
Location
In the Ninth District of Paris surrounded by cafes and bars, and close to opera

Cathedral, Place du Tertre, and Moulin Rouge, and a 10-minute walk from Mont-Matre and Anvers
Metro and bus stops, from which all tourist attractions are a short ride away. The

which stops a few steps from the hostel. The Louvre is 10 minutes away.
Rooms
Basic dorm rooms, triples, quads, and private rooms with bathrooms
Like at most hostels, many of the
rooms at Hotel Perfect are dormitories with bunk beds. Although they are basic
with little decor, rooms are modern and clean with colorful striped wallpaper, free
Wi-Fi, tables with red vinyl stools, individual lockers, and sinks. They are
more spacious than those found at other hostels. There are also three-bed rooms
with single beds rather than bunk beds and private rooms that each come with a double bed, small private balcony, and private bathroom that is small but immaculately clean
with a glass shower, toilet, and sink.
Features
Freebies include breakfast and Wi-Fi.

yogurt and cereal, and free coffee and juice refills. There is free Wi-Fi in rooms
and throughout the hotel, plus a communal kitchen area and TV lounge as well as
vending machines with snacks and drinks. There are communal bathrooms as well
as a few private rooms and bathrooms. There is no parking but the hotel offers
luggage storage and free city maps.
