Ibis Styles Paris Gare de Lyon Bastille is on the Right Bank on a tree-lined street in the 12th Arrondissement. The area is fairly busy because of its proximity to the Paris-Gare de Lyon station (TGV, RER, and metro trains), located a little less than a five-minute walk from the hotel. There are numerous shops, a supermarket, bars, and movie theater a short walk away, and though it’s not the best area for dining, there are several cheap French restaurants and fast food outlets nearby. The Lyon-Ledru Rollin bus stop is a one-minute walk from the hotel, and the Promenade Plantée, an elevated linear park that was once a railway line, is two minutes on foot from the hotel.
It's an eight-minute stroll to Place de la Bastille, and Jardin des Plantes is a 12-minute walk. Getting to the Marais requires a 15-minute metro ride, and it's roughly 20 minutes to the Louvre. Charles de Gaulle Airport is 40 minutes by RER train or about 30 minutes to an hour by car, depending on traffic.
