The small lobby is set up like a contemporary living room with gray hardwood floors that match beautiful gray-blue walls with white molding and a modern rug. White settees and a pink couch are topped with velvety pillows, while shelves full of books and stacks of magazines next to tea- and coffee-making supplies create a welcome rest stop. Pendant lights and original, framed portrait sketches create trendy accents. The hotel’s lively decor and proximity to the metro and Paris sights make it ideal for tourists, including couples and families.

Situated on a clean, quiet street with a few shops, the Hotel des 3 Poussins is located in the 9th arrondissement, a seven-minute walk from Pigalle and a two-minute walk to the metro, from which guests can get to most Paris hot-spots in about a half hour. While slightly outside of Paris’ main tourist area, the neighborhood is host to the popular Rue des Martyrs and the Grands Magasins of Opera, both less than a five-minute walk from the hotel. Guests rooms at the Hotel des 3 Poussins are chic and charming with lively decor. Standard and Superior Rooms are small in typical Parisian fashion, but the Rooms with a View are spacious and feature rooftop terraces or views of the Sacre-Coeur.Rooms are bright, with walls featuring green or blue accents, striped carpeting, vintage-style work desks, and white bedding with colorful accent pillows. Mural doodle paintings over the beds provide a fun accent. Each room includes a flat-screen television, LED bedside lamps, a safe, closet space, and coffee- and tea-making facilities. They also feature air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and double-glazed windows to keep noise to a minimum. Bathrooms are modern with white walls and brown checkered tiling. The layout encompasses a separate toilet stall, a free standing sink, and large shower with glass doors or a tub. Bathrooms have hairdryers and include individual toiletries as well as in-shower dispensers. 

The buffet breakfast doesn’t come standard with the room rate, but guests are generally pleased with the selection, which includes bread, fruit, meat, pancakes, scrambled eggs, and crepes. The breakfast room is in the basement, but it’s made chic with painted stone ceilings, bulb lighting, and black bistro tables set with red napkins. Room service is available.There are no other property features, but concierge and reception is open 24-hours. Umbrellas, cribs, and irons are available upon request. Laundry service is available for an extra fee, and paid parking is located across the street.Lobby bathrooms are decked out with black chalkboard walls and guests are supplied with chalk to write and draw on the walls -- the hotel posts the best on Facebook each week.
