Bottom Line
Hotel Daniel is an elegant boutique located between the Champs Elysees and Rue du Fauburg Saint-Honore, two of the most famous streets in Paris. With an abundance of silks, rich fabrics, furniture from around the globe, and hand-painted wallpaper, this small property has charm to spare. The 26 rooms are decent-sized for Paris, and come with great amenities including luxurious bathrooms with big soaking tubs and striking antiques. The restaurant is outstanding (but expensive), and service is top-notch, but there’s little in the way of amenities. Extras -- such as valet parking and breakfast -- are quite pricey.

Location
In an upscale area between the Champs Elysees and Rue du Fauburg Saint-Honore
Rue Frederic Bastiat is a tiny street between the famous Champs Elysees and store-packed Rue du Fauburg Saint-Honore. The imposing Arc de Triomphe is an easy walk away, and world-class shopping and dining are just a few steps from the hotel.
Major tourist attractions can be easily reached via the Metro, which is located a couple of blocks away. The Eiffel Tower, Champ-de-Mars, and the Trocadero (to name a few) are all about 25 minutes walk away from the property.
Hotel Daniel is in the heart of the 8th Arrondissement, a ritzy area home to wonderful restaurants, great (and expensive) shopping, and a number of luxury hotels. Part of the Champs has been taken over by chain restaurants and stores, but for a real high-end Parisian experience, head to Avenue Montaigne, known for its haute couture boutiques and outstanding restaurants.
