Natural beauty and upscale amenities come together in this beautiful resort overlooking Paracas Bay. There are plenty of places to soak in the views, from the poolside bars to the large balconies accompanying the 120 large rooms. The hotel’s surrounding area doesn’t offer much to see within walking distance and the beach can get algae-ridden; however, several child-friendly activities, two pools, and five restaurant/bar options, along with hotel-led excursions from the private dock, leave little room for boredom. Downsides include no coffee-or-tea-making facilities in some rooms and extra fees for the breakfast buffet. For slightly lower rates and simpler features, travelers may prefer the Doubletree Resort by Hilton Hotel Paracas.
