Hampton Inn Panama City Beach

Attracting business guests primarily, this Hampton Inn is designed as a typical roadside hotel with a single long hallway down the middle of the three-story structure. The parking lot wraps around the building and a pool is located off to the side. The lobby is just inside the main entrance and has a vibrant, patterned rug on top of modern wood flooring. Also on hand are a table with free tea and coffee, a stylish seating area, and a stand of tourist information leaflets next to a vending machine. The breakfast area is just off the main entrance, and the overall decor is bright and modern. The vibe of this Hampton Inn is a lot quieter than the hotels on the main Panama City beach strip, but it doesn't have comparable views or direct beach access. 

The hotel is located on Thomas Drive, which is outside the busy main “strip” of Panama City Beach but not as far from the beaches as Panama City itself. Beaches are a mile away and are reachable by foot in around 15 minutes. The hotel is fairly easy to get to as it’s just off the four-lane road, but is set back so there’s no traffic noise. There are plenty of office buildings nearby, and thus the location is better suited to business guests rather than vacationers, although it may suit tourists who want a quieter spot in Panama City. Captain Anderson's Marina is one rather long block southeast, where fishing and dive charters can be taken, while St. Andrew's State Park, which offers snorkeling, hiking, and fishing, is a five-minute drive southeast. In contrast Pier Park, where there’s a wide range of boutique shops, is a 15-minute drive northwest. Getting to Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is a 35-minute drive. 

Guest units here are spacious and bright and feel fresh and clean, decorated in a fairly traditional way with cream walls, dark wood furniture, and brown patterned carpets. Each room is equipped with a fridge, coffeemaker, microwave, and flat-screen TV with satellite channels as well as air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are decorated in plain white and feature shower/tub combos, free toiletries, and hairdryers. Rooms have either one king-sized bed or two queen beds. For a little extra, an upgrade can be booked to get a room with a whirlpool bath. Suites are also available, which have sofa beds in living rooms and king-sized beds in separate bedrooms. 

Hampton Inn Panama City Beach has a range of on-site facilities for guests, including an outdoor pool and a hot tub surrounded by plastic sun loungers and tables and chairs. The 24-hour fitness center has modern equipment that includes a treadmill, elliptical machine, bicycle, and dumbbells. The business center is open 24 hours a day as well, offering printing and copying services along with two computer stations. Business guests can also use the hotel’s meeting room, which can hold up to 30 people and has an outdoor area. Parking and Wi-Fi are free, and the free breakfast has a varied selection of hot and cold items, from oatmeal to eggs. It’s worth noting however that there’s no on-site restaurant. Airport shuttles can be arranged for guests upon request.
