None of the shopping, restaurants, and bars of Palm Springs are within walking distance, but it's only a five-minute drive to the downtown strip. Other attractions are within reasonable driving distance, including regional destinations like Joshua Tree National park (45 minutes) and Coachella (35 minutes). Palm Springs International Airport is a 10-minute drive and it's a two-hour drive to Los Angeles.
