From the outside, the hotel looks more like a private home than a hotel. It's covered in brown weatherboard siding with white framed windows and white balconies. Inside the lobby, the homey scene often inspires guests to make a free cup of coffee using the Keurig machine and drink it on one of the leather club chairs. Outside on the grassy lawn, yellow Adirondack chairs offer guests a spot to look out on views of the sound and the waterside dock. There’s also spot for grilling the day’s catch on a wooden patio with picnic tables. Guests can dock their boats outside the hotel, and there’s an area to clean fish.
