A gorgeous chandelier hangs in the bright lobby that features a colorful seating area and a granite-covered fireplace, giving the space a homey feeling, which is furthered by attentive touches like free coffee and tea in the lobby and evening social receptions several times a week. The sunlit breakfast area features high ceilings and large windows that make it feel light and airy, and it's filled with four-top tables and a colorful dotted carpet that complements the pale yellow walls. Earth-toned couches and armchairs sit in front of a flat-screen TV and fireplace, while the serving area is modern with granite countertops and light tile.

The Homewood Suites by Hilton Lake Buena Vista-Orlando is situated off the I-4 highway with shops, restaurants, the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets, and SeaWorld Orlando a five-minute drive away. Lake Bryan, the Orange County Convention Center, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom are a 10-minute drive from the hotel while Downtown Disney and the Orlando International Airport are around 20-minutes away.

Studio, One-Bedroom, and Two-Bedroom Suites are available at this hotel, and all are pleasantly decorated in cream and beige shades, with sleek wooden furnishings and living rooms with comfortable couches and armchairs. All suites have fully-equipped kitchens with tan granite countertops along with full-size refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, dishwashers, and coffeemakers. Some units offer extra square footage and large bathrooms, but others have kitchens that are quite small and might be hard to prepare meals in. Amenities also include 32-inch flat-screen TVs, DVD players, and free Wi-Fi. Tan granite covers the vanities in the bathrooms, which are located in separate areas from the toilet and tubs. Shower/tub combos have tan tile and Neutrogena toiletries are provided.

The lagoon-style outdoor pool has a shallow area with a water mushroom feature as well as a lovely stone fountain. White lounge chairs and palm trees surround the pool and hot tub area. The free hot buffet breakfast -- including fruit, waffles, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, muffins, and cereal -- gets positive reviews from guests.
