The pool deck, fitness center, and lounge are sunny, pretty, nicely furnished, and not insanely busy.The hotel has a hushed, grown-up feel, and a generally older and business-like crowd to match. Located on the main six-lane highway that runs through the heart of Ocean City, The Hampton Inn is directly on the Isle of Wight Bay, and surrounded by hotels. It's besides a Bank of America, a bus stop, a seafood restaurant, and the convention center, but there is little else within walking distance.The location is ideal for business travelers who need to be close to the convention center. About a two-minute walk across the street from the beach, it’s not a bad spot for beachgoers, but there are similarly priced properties located directly on the beach. A free shuttle takes guests to the boardwalk.
