Hotel Guonod Nice sits in a Belle Epoque-style town house built in 1905. Though it has a lovely façade, the hotel looks a bit weary inside. Furniture and decor in the public spaces and rooms are dated and include a mix of different styles. The hotel may have a fairly quiet and relaxed atmosphere, but that might be because there are no public spaces beyond the small breakfast room. The hotel isn’t designed for lingering; most guests make their way to the sister hotel that is just a minutes’ walk away, to use their outstanding facilities.

The Nice Cathedral is a 22-minute walk away, and Terra Amata takes 35 minutes to reach. There’s a mall that’s 13 minutes away on foot, and plenty of restaurants and bars are easy to access on surrounding streets. It’s a 13-minute drive to Nice Cote d’Azur Airport.

Bathrooms feature a cream and brown color scheme and appear more updated than the rooms.
