Homewood Suites Nashville Downtown

Nashville is a major convention center and a tourist destination, and the Homewood Suite Nashville Downtown draws a mix of business travelers and tourists. With its kitchens and spacious suites, the hotel is geared toward extended stays. The lobby of this historic building is elegant and inviting. Gray-granite floors with black accents are framed by exposed brick and stone walls and yellow balconies. The atrium lobby has a large skylight that allows the tropical plants to flourish. Brown-leather sofas and armchairs sit atop a bright-green-and-yellow rug in the center of the space. The Homewood Suites is in downtown Nashville near the State Capitol, which is about an eight-minute walk from the hotel. Nashville Public Library’s main branch is directly across the street. Bridgestone Arena and other attractions along bustling Broadway are about a 10- to 12-minute walk, and the nightlife along Printer’s Alley is seven minutes away on foot. The Music City Convention Center is a 10- to 12-minute walk, as is the Music City Walk of Fame. Nissan Stadium is a five-minute drive or about a 20-minute trip on public transportation, and there's a bus stop within a one-minute walk from the hotel. The surrounding area is generally considered safe, and several restaurants are within a five-minute walk. Vanderbilt University is an eight-minute drive or a 15-minute bus ride, and the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center and Nashville International Airport are about 20 minutes away by car, depending on time of day and traffic. Bus service to the airport takes about 25 minutes. 

The 113 rooms at the Homewood Suites Nashville Downtown are traditionally styled, with red-orange accents behind the beds, and light, two-tone brown carpeting. Bedding includes duvets, and the furniture is dark wood. Beige drapes bracket the windows, and framed black-and-white photos hang on the walls. Kitchens have laminate wood floors and tan-granite counters, full-size refrigerators, microwaves, two-burner stoves, dishwashers, cookware, and utensils. Living areas have queen-size sleeper sofas, orange-leather ottomans, and a second 32-inch flat-screen TV. Wood vanity sinks with tan granite tops are outside the bathrooms. Bathrooms include walk-in showers with sliding glass doors and tan-tile floors. Suites range in size from 460 to 620 square feet. One-Bedroom Suites have separate living rooms, while Studios have L-shaped layouts. Standard amenities include Neutrogena toiletries, free Wi-Fi, voice mail, and weekday newspaper delivery. The roomy desks have media plug-ins and ergonomic office chairs. Some rooms have views of adjacent office buildings, and others face the interior atrium. Smoking rooms are available.

The 24-hour business center has two computer stations with Internet access and printers that work remotely. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Valet dry cleaning and laundry services are available, as are coin-operated laundry machines. The front desk has a guest safe deposit box. Pets are welcome in select rooms, but for a hefty surcharge.
