Trianon Old Naples

Some find Trianon Old Naples to be a bit too old-fashioned, while others are intrigued with its classic Old World look. While much of the decor is on the dated side, the interiors are extremely well-maintained for a cozy feel rather than a shabby look. Expect to see high ceilings, detailed walls, low hanging chandeliers, antique sofas and furniture, lovely paintings, patterned carpets, and a large lobby fireplace. The surrounding gardens are so lush that its almost tropical, complete with palm tree-lined pavement. There's a lovely courtyard just off the Lobby Lounge with a few seating spots surrounded by green trees and a calming water feature. Inside, the Lobby Lounge is charming with cream-colored walls complemented by a fern-colored ceiling and red-patterned carpeting, dark-wood bar, old-fashioned wooden chairs with green cushioning, and alluring decor and artwork. Trianon Old Naples is mostly frequented by leisure travelers, particularly older couples looking for somewhere cozy to stay.

Trianon Old Naples is tucked away in a quiet residential area, though it's still within walking distance to the top of 5th Avenue, which is buzzing with restaurants and bars. Lively downtown Naples is also a five-minute walk from the hotel, for more dining and nightlife options. The lovely Cambier Park is also five minutes on foot. Tin City, the local specialty shopping district along the Gordon River, is an eight-minute walk from the hotel. Naples Yacht Club is a three-minute drive from the property. Both Naples Beach and Naples Pier are five minutes by car. While there are no nearby public transport stops, there is a tour bus stop just around the corner from the hotel. It's a 38-minute drive to the Southwest Florida International Airport.

Like the rest of the hotel, the 55 guest rooms at Trianon Old Naples are classically charming. The decor is kept simple: off-white walls, brown carpets, neutral lampshades, framed artwork on the walls, and antique wooden furniture. The rooms are well-maintained, with guests often complimenting the cleanliness. Each room has a small furnished balcony, though views aren't spectacular. The suites include a separate bedroom, dining area, and living area with a sofa bed. All units include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, tea- and- coffee- making facilities (including Keurig coffeemakers), desks, telephones, iron and ironing boards, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are spacious and come with marble counters, walk-in showers, hairdryers, magnifying mirrors, and Archive toiletries.

Trianon Old Naples mostly prides itself on its central location, though it also offers a few added features to contribute to a more enjoyable stay. An a la carte continental breakfast is served in the Lobby Lounge each morning, though this is an added charge. The Lobby Lounge also features an illy coffee bar as well as selection of beers, wines, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks (all for an additional charge) -- there is no full restaurant. The outdoor heated pool is open throughout the year and includes a few surrounding sun loungers and striped parasols. On-site parking and Wi-Fi throughout the property are free. Additional features are limited to a laundry service and computer station in the lobby. While no spa facilities are expected for a hotel in this category, the lack of any fitness facilities is noticeable.
