Bottom Line
Located in the heart of 5th Avenue, the 119-room Inn on Fifth is a boutique option that is as glitzy as its surroundings. Rooms are upscale and stylish, with a sophisticated black-and-white color scheme and pops of red, and great amenities such as iPod docks, flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi. The serene rooftop pool deck is a favorite for a quiet day in the sun, and the spa offers signature massages in a luxurious space with wooden floors and a soothing earth-tone palette. There are two excellent restaurants on-site, but breakfast is only served in the Club Level lounge, which is off-limits to guests staying in the main building. Those looking for a more family-friendly hotel may prefer the Naples Bay Resort, located a five-minute drive away.

Small upscale hotel with elegant interiors and a lovely rooftop pool
Housed in a quaint yellow building with terra-cotta-tile roofs and arched windows, the Inn on Fifth is not your typical Naples boutique. From the outside the property may look classic and understated, but an impressive marble lobby with crystal chandeliers and a grand staircase sets a luxurious tone. Red lacquered accents and cream-colored club chairs stand out against the gleaming beige marble floors and cute pale wallpaper, while a bright red accent wall punctuates the sleek white front desk. This decor style and bold palette lend the space a sophisticated feel that continues through the rest of the property, including in the Avenue 5 restaurant, the spa, and even the meeting rooms. Though the property oozes elegance and style, it is also friendly and relaxing, with a lovely 3,600-square-foot rooftop deck complete with a whirlpool, lots of loungers, food and drink service, and a quiet vibe throughout.
In 2012 the Inn expanded to the building directly across from it, adding 32 Club Level suites, an additional private rooftop deck with a whirlpool, and an executive lounge. This hotel-within-a-hotel offers larger units, as well as extra services such as free continental breakfast, which is not provided in the main building.
