Hyatt Residence Club Bonita Springs, Coconut Plantation

Hyatt Coconut Plantation has the feel of an upscale tropical water park, which is popular with the many families who
vacation here. The resort is made up of three pastel-colored four-story buildings with
balconies overlooking the lushly landscaped grounds. In keeping with its name, the hotel sticks to a tropical, plantation-theme decor scheme with plenty of elegant colonial-style
furniture. The lobby area is airy and spacious
with lots of natural light and hardwood floors. The soaring ceilings' exposed beams are painted white, and numerous woven ceiling fans cool a room decorated with a gorgeous stone fireplace, elegant earth-tone sofas, and wicker tables and chairs. There are many opportunities to
relax here with four swimming pools, a spa pool, saunas, and tiki huts withhammocks -- although the furnishings surrounding the pools and at the restaurants are quite basic, not matching the level of style found inside the property. Couples without children will appreciate the separate adults-only
swimming pool.

Hyatt Residence Club Bonita Springs, Coconut Plantation is located in Bonita Springs just off the Gulf of Mexico’s Estero Bay. The resort is in a quiet location next to a golf course, which is somewhat isolated. There is a free shuttle service to shops and the ferry to the private island and beach, but service is limited. Guests who want to get around after hours or have more flexibility will need a car. The Interstate 41 is just six minutes away by car, and it’s a 40-minute drive to Naples Municipal Airport. A sister property, The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa, is a four-minute drive away.

One- and two-bedroom suites are available at Hyatt Residence Club Bonita Springs, Coconut Plantation as well as smaller self-contained studios. Each has a spacious balcony and fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, plates, cutlery, utensils, and small appliances like a toaster, blender, and coffeemaker in addition to a sleek refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, and microwave. The suites also have washers and dryers, and bathrooms with spacious walk-in showers and whirlpool bathtubs. All rooms are tastefully decorated in colonial style -- wicker chairs, pastel-green walls, dark-wood furniture, and beach-themed wall art -- but there are a few signs of wear and tear in the kitchens and bathrooms. Flat-screen TVs are in both the living rooms and bedrooms, and DVD players are provided. 

Aside from the enormous lazy river and four pools available to guests, there are a dizzying number of extra features and children’s activities available at the Hyatt Residence Club Bonita Springs, Coconut Plantation. Guests can play a round of golf at the Raptor Bay Golf Club next door or unwind at the on-site spa or the large fitness center. There's also a business center with computers and printers available for those who need to catch up with work. Children of all ages can be entertained at the numerous facilities designed especially for them (some of which are down the road at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa): There’s a playground, kids' club with video games and toys like lego, a rock-climbing wall, a putting green, and opportunities to play sand volleyball and basketball. The Veranda restaurant is open only for lunch, and there's also a small grocery store on-site with Starbucks coffee and picnic baskets perfect for beach days. Coconuts tiki bar serves frozen cocktails poolside. Guests can also head to Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa for access to six additional restaurants/bars.
