Inlaid marble floors, a large chandelier, and wrought-iron decorative gates set against the wall all conjure the festive splendor of Florida in the ‘80s. Potted indoor palms add to a villa-like atmosphere comprised of neutral hues and earth tones. The overall effect is elegant. The tiny pool is set among palm trees in gardens surrounded by a four-story pink stucco building, which houses the Hilton’s guest rooms. Business clients and families alike are frequent visitors here. 

Free shuttle service is offered to the beach. Otherwise the walk requires strolling along the Tamiami Trail, a highway-like road that passes right next to the hotel. The property is also a five-minute walk from the upscale outdoor pedestrian mall Waterside Shops, which houses designer stores like Gucci and Salvatore Ferragamo alongside the Gap, Starbucks, and a few restaurants. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from Naples Municipal Airport, while getting to Southwest Florida International Airport is a 40-minute drive north.

The rooms here have little in the way of innovative decor. Nonetheless, apart from the occasional air-conditioning breakdown, guests report generally comfortable rooms, all of which include flat-screen TVs, hairdryers, coffee stations, and Crabtree & Evelyn bath products. Larger rooms have sofa beds, bathrobes, minibars, and microwaves.

The fairly large fitness center features wood floors and plenty of towels in addition to treadmills, nautilus machines, and free weights. Table tennis and basketball are available as well, as are free bikes that guests can borrow. The business center features an Internet terminal and printing services. A small pool to one side of the property has a mini-waterfall and tiny adjacent hot tub. The on-site steakhouse Shula's generally receives praise from visitors, though many have noted the restaurant's high prices. For travelers with an itinerary beyond relaxing, the Hilton has 18,000 square feet of dedicated space for special events and functions.
