Built in 2002, the Hilton Garden Inn Napa has
a Tuscan-vibe with a Napa-related theme. Upon entering the hotel,
the area’s wine history is displayed in a large mural of a man working in a
vineyard. There are high ceilings, bright lighting provided by plenty of
windows, and comfortable seating areas. Interesting globe-like chandeliers and gold
colors are striking and perhaps unexpected for the chain property. Off the main room,
a large leather couch faces a flat-screen TV and there are electric fireplaces.
Free serve-yourself water and iced tea is
available. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, a good fit with the wine country location.

The suburban hotel is centrally located within driving distance from Napa Valley sites.
Located in the suburbs, the hotel is adjacent to the
main freeway and a car ride away from most nearby attractions. Closest by is a
commercial strip mall with grocery stores and coffee shops. There are more than
100 vineyards in both the Sonoma and Napa valleys within 20-minutes by car. The Napa
Valley Wine Train, Alston Park, Napa Opera House, and the Oxbow Public Market
