Tiny pool with few chairs
The Chablis Inn is basically a simple two-level mid-range motor lodge with no frills. The rooms are big and comfortable enough. While it does have a (tiny) pool and perks such as free Wi-Fi, this place is probably better suited as a one-night stopover for wine country visitors than a long-term stay. It's close by to some great wineries, but the hotel itself isn't the type of environment where you'd sit outside with a couple of glasses of wine and relax.
Location
Right off Highway 29, minutes away from some of the best wineries
The Chablis Inn is easy to access -- it's right off Highway 29 in downtown Napa. Walkable from the inn, just across the street, is a strip mall with pizza places, a taco joint, Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and more, which is convenient since there is no restaurant on-site. It's just a few minutes' drive to some of the best wineries in town. The city of Napa is the largest in Napa County. The area is known mainly and the birthplace of the American wine industry, and maintains a very rural agricultural environment in comparison to surrounding areas.- 75-minute drive from both San Francisco International Airport and Sacramento International Airport
