Golfers will appreciate the proximity to the Grand Dunes Golf Club, and it's a 30-minute drive to Diamondback Golf Course at the Woodland Valley Country Club, to which guests get free admission. Partiers will appreciate that the resort is home to the popular Ocean Annie's Beach Bar.

The resort features one-, two- and three-bedroom condos, each with private balconies. While rooms feature kitchens or kitchenettes with coffeemakers, microwaves, fridges and toasters, nothing -- with the exception of the flat-screen TVs -- appears to have been updated in the last decade. A few guests have complained of cockroach and maintenance issues, but the rooms we saw appeared clean; rooms vary, so it may be the luck of the draw.
