Scene
Relaxed beach hotel with ocean views and retro-style, with several restaurants and a nightclub
A friendly and relaxed atmosphere runs
throughout the Ocean Drive Beach and Golf Resort, which is popular with vacationers, particularly those who love to golf. The lobby is basic and has tan tile, potted
plants, and blue-and-red plush seating, while floor-to-ceiling windows offer
pool and ocean views and let in plenty of natural light. Views of the ocean can also be
seen from Ocean Drive Cafe, which has green ceilings, wood tables, and blue
patterned chairs. A large skylight in the dining area provides much of the
light in the restaurant. Neon lights, Tiki-style decorations, and Myrtle Beach
murals adorn the OD Beach Club, while the Tiki Bar includes wood statues, tropical artwork, and ocean views. Colorful mood lighting sets the tone at the Spanish
Galleon nightclub, along with a beautiful dome skylight and funky tile floors.
