The Holiday Inn Oceanfront at Surfside
Beach has a calm and friendly atmosphere. The recently updated lobby is decorated in tan
tile, and has potted plants and a cozy seating area with a flat-screen TV. Blue
patterned carpet, yellow walls, and generic artwork adorn the chain-style
Shoreline restaurant, which has floor-to-ceiling windows providing some natural
light. The Tiki Lounge has a sports bar feel, with tall bar chairs and
a pool table in addition to several flat-screen TVs. More floor-to-ceiling
windows brighten up the area and there is a jukebox in one corner. Outside the
hotel, wood chairs and couches with blue padding provide extra seating and
views of the ocean and surrounding city.

The Holiday Inn is located on the beach in a residential area, with a few restaurants within walking
distance. Wild Water and Wheels, Hudson’s Surfside Flea Market, and Myrtle
Beach State Park are all less than a 10-minute drive from the hotel, while Myrtle
Beach and Myrtle Beach International Airport take just over 10 minutes to reach.
Broadway at the Beach and Brookgreen Gardens are both a 15-minute drive from
the property.

glass doors provide natural light and have balconies with white
plastic seating and excellent ocean or city views. All rooms come with safes, but many
are old and rusted. Some past guests have complained of exterior hallway
noise. Bathrooms are contemporary and brightly lit, with tan tile floors and
matching shower/tubs, plus granite countertops. All come with Bath & Body Works toiletries and hairdryers.

sandwiches, steak, and seafood. Scoops Ice Cream and Cafe is
open seasonally and features lunch and sweet treats.Both the fitness center and business
center are open 24-hours a day. The small fitness center has modern cardio equipment, while the
business center has a computer as well as copying and printing services. Room
service is available (with limited hours) and there are laundry facilities as well
as outdoor barbecue grills. The hotel is pet-friendly, but only pets weighing less than
40 pounds are allowed and there is an additional fee.
