Mykonos town and its nightlife, including Little Venice, is at least a 20-minute drive away, while the famed Cavo Paradiso club is an even longer drive and can take up to 30 minutes. Guest rooms at the Archipelagos Hotel are large and sunny, with picturesque private balconies or terraces -- most of which overlook the sea. They resemble little Greek Island cottages with pretty painted shutters and traditional Cycladic arches, as well as plenty of flowers, cacti, and trees surrounding the buildings. The rooms are individually decorated, but all are painted white, with tile floors, white furnishings, and colorful accents in the bed linens and curtains. Many have striking upholstered headboards, and some rooms feature stunning photographs of Greek architecture and blue skies hanging above beds.
Rooms come in a variety of configurations, from doubles to Family Suites to the romantic Honeymoon Suite. Rooms are soundproofed and come with blackout drapes for added privacy and sound sleeping. Bathrooms are modern and moderately sized, with shower/tub combos, or walk-in showers. Many of the bathrooms have windows for fresh air and sunshine.
