Scene

Central hotel with lively atmosphere

Travelers who want to be in the center of the busiest tourist scene in Munich will find this hotel's location ideal. The six-floor hotel has two entrances. One leads to the Rindermarkt square and the other to the Viktualienmarkt. Streets outside the hotel entrances are crowded with tourists, parked bikes, and mopeds. Inside, the lobby offers a small sitting area with books, stylish fireplaces, and colorful rugs. Overall the atmosphere is buzzing, with some outside noise reaching the rooms.

Location

Located in the center of Munich’s happening tourist hub

The Louis Hotel is on prime Munich real estate. The hotel is in the shadows of Saint Peter’s Church, which is less than a block away. The Viktualienmarkt, open since 1807, is at the hotel’s doorstep. Restaurants, bars, museums, historic sites, and shopping are within footsteps of the hotel. Guests recommend the Chocolaterie Beluga right outside. Marienplatz, the town center that dates back to 1158, is three minutes away on foot. The Fischbrunnen fountain, the New Town Hall, and a subway station are all three minutes away on foot. The airport is a 29-minute drive. Maximilian street, with high-end shopping, is a three-minute cab ride.
