Amenities include a spa with a small hammam and massage treatments and a free continental breakfast served on a rooftop terrace. Dinner is available on request. The riad's central location makes it a great place to stay for those who want to spend most of their time out and about exploring, but those looking to stay somewhere with more impressive rooms might prefer Riad Baladin, which offers a bit more in terms of ambience and a hot tub.
Scene
Low-key hotel housed in a traditional building with lots of indoor and outdoor seating areas
Villa Maroc is housed in a whitewashed building with blue doors, tucked away down an alley in the Medina. Inside are a number of small rooms and nooks with seating areas, tables, and antique mirrors and prints on the walls. Moroccan linens, a large hanging scale, and fireplaces add cozy charm to the riad. There's a central courtyard at the middle of the building that's surrounded by patios on each floor, plus a large rooftop terrace with lots of tables and chairs, plus views of the beach in the distance. Most guests are couples, but the hotel sees plenty of families and groups of friends.

Rooms
Simple rooms with Moroccan decor and few amenities
Villa Maroc offers simple rooms and suites -- some spread out over two floors -- with whitewashed walls, plain wooden furniture, and small Moroccan touches like traditional woven rugs and ceiling-suspended lanterns. Suites add sitting areas, and some rooms have a fireplace. Some open out to the hotel's common furnished patios, which feature tables, chairs, and potted plants. Bathrooms feature muted red and gray tile work, walk-in showers, and vessel sinks. Toiletries are provided and Wi-Fi is free, but rooms otherwise lack common amenities such as TVs, kettles, and safes.
Features
Free continental breakfast, dinner on request, and spa with hammam
Amenities are limited at Villa Maroc, but a free breakfast of baked goods, yogurt, and fruit is served daily on the rooftop terrace, public lounges, or in guest rooms. There's no lunch service, but dinner is available on request, with vegetarian options. A small spa is on-site, offering a traditional hammam, black soap treatments, massages, and facials. Unlike many riads in the area, there are no pool or hot tub on-site. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property and airport transfers are available for a fee.
