Robinson Club Agadir

The Robinson Club Agadir is a large all-inclusive resort that's part of the Thomson holidays brand. It's situated on a secluded stretch of sandy beach, and the buildings are nestled between beautiful green gardens and tropical palm trees. The Atlas Mountains make for a stunning background. Pale stone steps lead up to the hotel's airy reception area, framed with big wooden doors and traditional Moroccan vases. Interiors are also Moroccan-inspired, with with tiled floors, Turkish rugs, Moorish arches, and colorful contemporary artwork adorning the walls. The hotel has a laid-back atmosphere, with many relaxing lounges and terraces scattered around the property -- though most guests congregate at the pool or beach during the day. The hotel's family-friendly amenities attract a lot of tourists with children, though couples and business travelers also stay here. Guests are predominantly German, though staff speak good English and French.

The resort is located on a quiet stretch of sandy beach on the southern end of Agadir Beach. The hotel is not within walking distance to any shops, bars, or restaurants, but the city center is a 30-minute walk from the hotel. Many guests come to the hotel to play at the nearby golf courses, and the popular Golf du Soleil club is a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Souk El-Had market and Agadir Kasbah are around a 10-minute drive from the hotel, and the Royal Palace is a five-minute drive. The Casino Le Mirage and Vallee de Oiseaux (a free bird sanctuary and zoo) are also a short taxi ride away. For guests wanting to go farther afield, excursions to the Atlas Mountains can be arranged through the hotel for a fee. Agadir Al Massira International Airport is a 35-minute drive from the hotel. 

The resort has 343 spacious rooms with simple decor that blends Moroccan elements with modern amenities. Clean rooms have tiled floors, neutral-tone walls, and dark-wood furnishings, while Suites add separate living spaces. Larger Family Rooms are available with adjoining bedrooms. All rooms come with glass doors that open out onto furnished balconies, offering lovely sea or mountain views. Flat-screen TVs, empty mini-fridges, safes, and phones are standard, though Wi-Fi is lacking, which may be disappointing for some. Rooms also lack minibars and electric kettles for tea or coffee, though Suites add Nespresso coffeemakers. Spacious tiled bathrooms are a bit dated, and have walk-in showers, marble countertops, hairdryers, magnifying mirrors, and free toiletries. Suites add separate deep-soaking bath tubs and double vanities. 

The Robinson Club Agadir has plenty of amenities that cater to families. The beach is dotted with sun loungers and windbreakers, and there are two heated outdoor pools where guests relax during the day. For more active guests, there's beach volleyball, tennis courts, table tennis, soccer, surfing, and numerous golf resorts nearby. A fitness center has cardio equipment, free weights, and yoga classes, as well as full-service spa with an indoor pool, sauna, and traditional hammam. Massages and beauty treatments can be arranged for a fee. 

There are plenty of on-site facilities to entertain kids, such as a free kids' club, outdoor playground, separate children's pool, and small animal farm. For adults, there are two beach bars, a lounge bar, nightly entertainment, and a nightclub. All-inclusive rates cover almost everything (apart from branded alcohol), and there are three restaurants that get excellent reviews. A generous breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet is served daily, and there's a Moroccan a la carte restaurant and Moorish cafe. 

A business center with five meeting spaces is on-site, as well as shops selling clothing, souvenirs, and art. Other services include a 24-hour front desk, car rentals, tour desk, laundry, dry cleaning, and airport transfers for a fee. Wi-Fi is free is public spaces, but not available in rooms. Parking is free.
