the rest of the property -- gleaming, cream-colored marble floors and walls are illuminated by a large crystal chandelier, while chic olive-green armchairs flank an open fireplace. The atmosphere is mostly busy during the day with guests and meeting attendees milling about (there are 14 meeting rooms on-site), but evenings are more relaxed with live piano music offered several times a week, and locals and guests alike mingling at Alice Bar.

The Omni Mont Royal Hotel is centrally situated in the Golden Square Mile right by McGill University, two blocks from Mount Royal Park, and around the corner from the shopping
on Saint Catherine Street. It’s a short walk to Crescent Street, which is
home to many popular restaurants and pubs. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel and a subway station around the corner. Old
Montreal is not within walking distance, however, but it is under a 10-minute drive. The
west-central location is convenient for visitors to the university as well
as business travelers and tourists; the Montreal Convention Centre,
chic Crescent Street, Parc Lafontaine, Olympic Stadium, and other top
destinations are all within easy reach via the subway. The Trudeau International Airport is
approximately 20 minutes away by car.
