Scene
Charming family-owned bed-and-breakfast with Southwestsern decor
The Desert Hills Bed and Breakfast offers a rural vacation in view of Moab’s beautiful La Sal Mountains and primarily attracts families and couples. Owners Vic and Anna, with their young son Andre, bought the bed-and-breakfast in 2008. The two-floor home -- with a brick bottom floor -- is shaded by pine trees and there's a small sign on the roadside that can be difficult to see in the dark. The front door is framed by a vine-covered trellis and there's a gravel parking lot. The cozy living room has a familial feel, with pine sofas with Southwestern upholstery, a tube TV, potted plants, and a window looking out onto the wooded property. There are also board games and cards for guests to borrow as well as a laptop computer in one corner corner.
