shopping destinations. The B&B has two homey rooms with minibars,
flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi, and one has a small balcony. A tasty breakfast
is provided, and guests rave about the owners who help with everything from carrying
luggage to securing tour tickets. If neither room is available at the hotel, guests may want to check out Belcanto B&B, a modern, airy B&B outside the city center.
Scene
Charming B&B in a historic building
B&B Milano Bella is a flat located on the fourth
floor of a historic five-story building built in 1880. The building has a
pretty courtyard with leafy trees, benches, and a buttery formerly used to
process milk into butter. There’s an elevator guests can take up to the
B&B. Inside, there’s a small living room area where flower petals,
houseplants, and a guest book all sit on an old piano. There’s a couch to sit
on, and at times, fresh fruit and small desserts are available for guests to
enjoy. Breakfast is served in a dining room with a range of pictures decorating
the white walls. The two rooms at the B&B are close to the living room and dining
room, and guests find themselves trying to be quiet in order not to wake other
guests in the mornings.
Location
On pedestrian street near shopping and a metro station
B&B Milano Bella has a convenient location in

the Duomo can be reached within a 25-minute walk or 10-minute trip on the metro.
Linate Airport is within a 15-minute drive and Malpensa Airport is within a
45-minute drive.
Rooms
Clean rooms have wooden floors and small showers.
There
are two spacious rooms at B&B Milano Bella, the Green Room and the Blu Room, named
for the corresponding color of their bathroom tiles. Rooms are clean and airy with sheer
curtains. A few pictures add color to the rooms. The Blu Room has a small
balcony looking out at the interior courtyard. Both rooms have wooden desks,
flat-screen TVs, minibars, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms have small, stand-up showers
and heated towel racks. Guests warn the plumbing can be loud during showers.
