Interiors are elegant, while eating and drinking areas are sleek and inviting. A proper spa, too, is an unexpected bonus, and extensive on-site parking is a big plus. Rooms are good -- with stylish interiors, big flat-screen TVs, and electric kettles -- though lacking a certain pizzazz, and soundproofing could be better in some rooms. There are plenty of hotels to choose from in the immediate area, but for this caliber of hotel, this is probably the best value.

The Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow Hotel is located on a busy strip that runs parallel to Heathrow Airport, which includes other hotels, businesses, and fast food restaurants. The Hotel Hopper bus delivers guests to the airport, though time very much depends on which of the five terminals you're flying from. Central London is a 45-minute tube journey from Heathrow Underground Station, which is situated within the airport, or 15 minutes by the Heathrow Express service.
