This boutique hotel is located in South Beach in the area referred to as SoFi, within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, shops, and bars. A small, cozy property with a relaxed atmosphere, the property was formally Harmon Villa, which was declared a historic building by the Historic Preservation Board of Miami. The new owners restored the hotel to its original architecture, completing the Villa Italia transformation in 2011. The 14 rooms are simple, contemporary, and spacious. The hotel also provides a small but free breakfast which can be enjoyed on the outdoor patio. Guests receive free chairs and towels for the beach as well, but there are few on-site amenities beyond these.
