Palm trees decorate the parking lot, and white curtains shield the windows of the Rodeway Inn Miami. Inside, the classic lobby is spacious, with large columns and a big, wooden front desk, but the few black leather couches are spread out in a way that’s not conducive to mingling. Wooden tables and mint-green chairs provide seating in the hotel’s breakfast room, and shades diffuse the sunlight coming in through the wall of windows. Outside, trees surround the fenced-in pool area, and round paving stones and a vintage-inspired lamppost add some charm.
