Aloft Miami Dadeland

Aloft Miami Dadeland has a contemporary, trendy look and feel typical to the Aloft brand. The exterior is typical of a corporate hotel, with six floors of large windows overlooking a large parking lot and a freeway, but the interiors are decidedly trendier, with colorful retro-style furniture in the lobby. Vibrant bucket chairs, geometric-print ottomans, and neon guitar outlines pop against a mostly gray and black industrial-looking backdrop. Most guests here are business travelers, though it also attracts some tourists, largely due to its proximity to the mall and 20-minute drive from the main airport.

The Aloft Miami Dadeland is located down the street from the Dadeland Mall, a shopping center with more than 150 stores. There’s a Starbucks and a bakery within a short walk in the opposite direction as well. The Miracle Mile and Downtown Coral Gables are around a 15-minute drive, while South Beach is about 40 minutes away by car. It's about a 20-minute drive to the Miami International Airport. Note that parking is available on-site, but it requires a daily fee.

The Aloft offers four room types, ranging from small 250-square-foot (23-square-meter) Aloft King Rooms to more spacious 375-square-foot (35-square-meter) Savvy Suites. All rooms follow a similar decor scheme consisting of two-tone wooden desks, dark brown-and-blue carpeting, gray accent walls, headboards with bright-orange cityscape prints, and throw pillows with pixelated prints. Additional pops of blue or orange are found in additional seating, side tables, and bathroom walls. Standard amenities include coffeemakers, electronic safes, and mini-fridges, as well as flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Modern bathrooms have wall-mounted toiletry dispensers in glassed-in walk-in showers. Accessible Rooms with roll-in showers are also available. 

There's no proper restaurant, but guests can pick up light grab-and-go meals at Re:fuel by Aloft 24 hours. W XYZ bar offers cocktails and regular live music events, while Re:mix lounge has a pool table. There's also a fitness center with treadmills, an elliptical, free weights, and a resistance-training machine. A seasonally open outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by lounge chairs and a few cabanas, plus a foosball table off to one side. Business amenities include a small computer station with a printer, free hotel-wide Wi-Fi, and a 383-square-foot meeting room for up to 14 guests. The hotel is pet-friendly, and special amenities include free dog treats, dog toys, water bowls, and a walking area for dogs.
