eat well, and live large. The main building was built in the 19th century; it has been restored and renovated to combine modern comforts with an
old Spanish vibe. The surrounding buildings have retained the historic feel,
and grounds are beautifully landscaped with lush green lawns, wildflower
gardens, and winding stone pathways. The Fontsanta is adjacent to a nature
preserve, but there's a busy road nearby, and traffic noise is the only harsh
reality to permeate the hotel’s well-cultivated Zen. There's a reason guests
return to the Fontsanta again and again. The lobby and common areas feature
wide open spaces, high ceilings, wood beams, and hardwood floors. There are
interesting sculptures and modern paintings around the lobby and grounds, and
coffee table art books in the library area. The two outdoor pools have lovely

south end of Mallorca. The area is secluded, but there's a grill restaurant
located across the street. The Fontsanta is adjacent to Es Salobrar de Campos, a nature preserve
with 130 salt ponds. Less than two miles away, or an 11-minute drive, is Es Trenc, one of Mallorca’s
most famous beaches, perhaps one of the best in the world. Es Trenc is a
protected beach, and there's a nudist section. The Palma Airport is a 30-minute drive.
