The more stylized interiors are foreshadowed by the recycled CD lizard sculpture that adorns the classic building's exterior. Rooms and suites vary is size, according the the building's original floorplan, but suites do have walk-in rainfall showers and jetted tubs; some rooms do get street noise, though. The surrounding area is filled with historical attractions, designer shops, and restaurants, and public transportation is nearby. There is a private terrace, as well as a restaurant, although the notably good breakfast is a bit pricey. There are fees for breakfast, Wi-Fi, and on-site parking.
Scene
Modern and artistic boutique hotel in an historic building
The Vincci Soho's historic exterior is adorned with a lizard sculpture made from recycled CDs, setting the tone for
this modern yet historic hotel. Since this hotel was constructed from five
historic Madrid buildings, you can see the changes in the heights of the ceilings and
the different types of architecture throughout. However, the hotel still follows the Vincci brand
standards of mixing classic structures with bright colors and bold prints. A work of art made of light fixtures and black stone greets guests in the foyer, and the lobby is filled with other artistic lamps. Gray tile floors, a wooden desk,
and lizard wallpaper adorn the lobby, while mod-inspired purple and floral furniture
provides extra seating. Artistic light fixtures and metal butterflies can be found throughout the
hotel, while the soft fabrics of the couches make the common areas feel cozy. Brown and
black wicker furniture is spread throughout the stylish terrace/bar area and
some parts are covered to help with the summer heat.
Location
In the central and trendy Barrio de las Letras neighborhood, surrounded by designer shops and art galleries.
The Vincci Soho is located in the Barrio de las Letras, in Madrid's central Huertas district, surrounded by bars, restaurants, high-end shops, and historic architecture. The
“Triange of Art” is within walking distance, and public transportation stops are under a 15-minute
walk away. A rental car is only necessary if you plan to leave the city
center. The hotel offers parking for a fee. Airport transfers can be arranged for a fee.
Rooms
Spacious and modern, with sleek decor and dramatic colors; suites have large bathrooms with jetted tubs.
All rooms at the Vincci Soho have a similar design and color scheme, although suites are significantly grander than regular rooms. All are decorated in shades of gray, red,
purple, and blue, and furnishings are sleek and stylized. Floral headboards, wood floors, and artistic pendant lamps can be found throughout; the spacious suites have also have a seating area with tan couches. Standard bathrooms are decorated with slate tile and have a combination shower/tub, and are on the smaller side. Modern square sinks take up a lot of counter space in most bathrooms, but round bowl sinks in the suite bathrooms save more space for toiletries. Bidets, makeup mirrors, and Vincci amenities are in all bathrooms. Suite bathrooms are larger and also include bathrobes, red tile showers with rainfall showerheads, and large jetted tubs that can fit at least two people. All rooms have free wired Internet ports, newspapers, and bottled water, as well as minibars and air-conditioning; suites also have coffeemakers. Some guests find the color scheme in the rooms a bit dark, others complain of a lack of electrical outlets, and street-facing rooms do get some noise.
Features
On-site restaurant and bar with terrace; fees for Wi-Fi and parking

Room service is available, but only at limited hours. There are several meeting and event spaces available at the hotel, too. Wi-Fi is available for a fee, as is on-site parking.
