Location
On a pedestrian street in the heart of Madrid
The location of Hotel Preciados VIP is in the middle of the action. Gran Via, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, La Almudena Cathedral, the Royal Theater, and Sabatini Gardens are all within less than a 15-minute walk from the property. Preciados is a pedestrian street running from Puerta del Sol to Plaza de Santo Domingo, a small square off Gran Via. The central location brings hordes of tourists and locals alike day and night, but the hotel is on the quieter part of the street.Great shopping around Sol and Gran Via are an easy walk away, as is young nightlife in the Huertas neighborhood. La Latina, a tapas and al fresco dining and drinking hotspot, is a quick stroll away (cross beautiful Plaza Mayor to get there), and the Austrias area, with beautiful 17th-century architecture and cobblestone streets is just a few blocks from the hotel.Sol is the heart of Madrid, both geographically speaking and in a figurative sense. “Kilometer Zero” (where all roads in Spain are said to start), shopping, dining, nightlife, and major tourist attractions are all here. This means many tourists in Madrid never leave the neighborhood. Also, its central location is ideal for those who like to explore the city on foot. But those who prefer taking public transportation, there are many bus stops and two Metro stations within a block.- 25-minute drive to Madrid-Barajas Airport
