The luxury Marquis Los Cabos All Inclusive Resort & Spa is conveniently situated on The Corridor, the main road running between Los Cabos International Airport and Cabo San Lucas, and beachfront to Costa Azul -- though the beach can be too rough for swimming. With three pools, several restaurant choices, a full-service spa, chic bar, and 24-hour room service, this is a great choice for couples who want an adult-only experience. However, Canto del Mar costs extra and some of the specialty restaurants have limited hours. The 235 rooms are spacious and luxurious with L’Occitane bath products and ocean view balconies -- some suites have private pools. Coffee is delivered to the rooms every morning. Those looking for a swimmable beach and lower rates should check out ME Cabo by Melia, a more lively option geared towards adults.

Quiet, luxury resort with an entertainment staff by day and small bar scene at night
The grandeur of the Marquis Los Cabos Resort and Spa is on immediate display with expansive white wings and a circular stone driveway. Guests are greeted by a massive open-air lobby which extends through to a decorative infinity pool and stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. The tranquil and laid-back resort exudes a simple opulence throughout with modern white couches, high white walls, and decorative Roman sculptures -- all without seeming overdone. Black stone seeded walkways lead the way through perfectly manicured grounds and lovely open terraces.A quiet vibe permeates throughout the hotel, slow jazz is played on garden speakers out by the pools. A small social scene is active at the center pool where the activity staff organizes water volleyball games and stretching (a slow paced yoga). With two infinity pools stretching the length of the hotel, guests can choose however much socialization and activity they wish to partake in or get away from it all. Bar Suspiro, the main bar, opens in the afternoon, and is a popular spot for guests to hang out before dinner watching sports or socializing with one another. Note that kids are not allowed at the resort.

On The Corridor, a 20-minute drive to Cabo San Lucas
Situated right on the main road from Cabo San Lucas to San Jose del Cabo, Marquis Los Cabos Resort is conveniently located for guests who want to explore both cities. The famously vibrant nightlife of Cabo San Lucas, with plenty of beach clubs, restaurants, and the marina, is a 20-minute drive from the hotel. Playa El Medano, the most swimmable beach in Los Cabos, is an 18-minute drive from the hotel. The small, quaint town of San Jose del Cabo is a 15-minute drive from the Marquis. Expect to see lovely cobblestone streets, plenty of artwork, and lots of Old World Mexican charm. There are a plenty of restaurants and big box stores along The Corridor between the two cities, including Walmart and Home Depot. The Los Cabos International Airport and the smaller Cabo San Lucas International Airport are both about a 30-minute drive from the hotel.

All 235 rooms at the Marquis Los Cabos Resort are spacious and luxurious. Rooms range in size from Junior Suites to massive Presidential Suites and Casitas, but most rooms fall into the Junior Suite category. The sophisticated rooms come with vibrant colors, heavy mahogany furniture, and comfortable mattresses. Colors throughout the rooms tend towards bright oranges and yellows complemented by white walls and neutral beige curtains. Rooms are spacious with plenty of walking room, storage space, and sitting areas.Rooms come with fully stocked minibars, flat-screen TVs, and balconies with ocean views. There are a few delightful extras offered in the rooms, including a welcome treat, daily coffee with traditional Mexican sweet breads delivered to a privacy cabinet, and nightly turndown service. Master Suites and Casitas are an especially nice upgrade for the extra room and private pools. Bathrooms are spacious and well-appointed. All bathrooms come with separate standing showers and huge soaking bathtubs. Large vanities are set with L’Occitane products. Guests can expect plenty of towels, bathrobes, and slippers.

There are plenty of leisure and dining options to occupy guests' time while staying at the Marquis Los Cabos All Inclusive Resort & Spa. Two stunning infinity pools border the beach. The pools offer spectacular sunset views and plenty of lounge chairs and parasols. A spacious circular third pool is situated in the middle of the hotel and is typically used for different activities organized by the activity staff, including water volleyball, stretching, and corn hole. Guests enjoy passed poolside treats. A small beach area is set up in front of the infinity pools and has a few lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a volleyball net. Depending on weather conditions, the water may be too dangerous for swimming -- a common theme in this part of Mexico. The tranquil spa features a few outdoor hot tubs with ocean views, as well as a few massage rooms and a nail salon. A moderately-sized fitness center is located within the spa building and features Precor cardio machines and weights. The fitness center is a bit dark, but has a few nice additions like flat-screen TVs, flavored water, and plenty of towels. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. Parking is also free.

There are a plethora of all-inclusive dining options available for guests throughout the resort. Vista Ballenas is the hotel’s main restaurant, open for buffet breakfast, a la carte lunch, and a la carte dinner with casual indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the Sea of Cortez. A coffee shop is open in the morning and throughout the day for freshly brewed coffee and snacks. The casual poolside restaurant, Dos Mares, is open during the day for traditional Mexican snacks like guacamole, nachos, ceviche, and salads. There are a few lovely dinner options as well. Sakke Japanese Restaurant is open most nights for sushi (requires reservations). The cavernous restaurant is chic and modern with sleek white tables and crisp red dinner napkins. La Pergola, an Italian patio restaurant open most nights, offers a salad bar and brick oven pizza. The French restaurant, Canto del Mar, is an elegant option -- open only some nights. The upscale restaurant has limited seating and requires reservations, but provides a memorable, specialty six-course meal. Guests should note Canto del Mar is not a part of the all-inclusive plan. Suspiros Bar is open in the afternoon and into the evening for specialty cocktails, beer, and mixed drinks. The elegant open-air terrace bar overlooks the ocean, and has stunning sunset views. A flat-screen TV is situated in the corner and plays sports throughout the evening. Hookah pipes are available for guests.
