The entrance to this basic hotel is on Century Boulevard, the busy, industrial street that leads into Los Angeles International Airport. La Quinta Inn's sprawling lobby is lined with windows and designed with marble pillars, flat-screen TVs, pay phones, an ATM, and pleasant beige and burgundy contemporary furniture. The ample modern seating areas, though, tend to become crowded. The front desk is made of warm, medium-brown wood and is stocked with free copies of USA Today. Free daily breakfast in the adjacent large and bright restaurant with modern furniture tends to draw a line of guests.

On a busy South Los Angeles Street, the main artery into LAX
The most notable feature of the hotel is the close proximity to the Los Angeles International Airport, which is a 10-minute drive away. There is also a free airport shuttle. Casual family and fast-food restaurants are within five-minutes' walking distance, including Carl's Jr., Denny's, McDonald's, Taco Bell, and Subway. Numerous car rental shops are within walking distance of the hotel or available by free shuttle from the airport terminal. It’s not advisable, however, to walk in this area at night as it can be dangerous. Theme parks and Hollywood attractions are not a convenient distance from this hotel. Disneyland is at least a 40-minute car drive. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a 38-minute car ride or an hour and 30 minutes on public transportation. Manhattan Beach, a popular local and tourist spot, is a 20-minute drive.
