This value hotel was built in the 1970s and has maintained that style over the decades. The check-in area is a small room on the ground floor with a dated couch, posters on the walls, tourism pamphlets, and a computer and printer. The front desk is behind a wood paneled wall that has a window where guests can speak to the person behind the desk. Despite this lack of polish, the hotel has a young, international clientele and a friendly atmosphere -- guests are known to gather and chat outside their rooms.

The hotel is located on the famous Sunset Boulevard, however it is not considered to be part of the Sunset Strip. It is in a commercial area near a lot of fast food restaurants and across the street from a Home Depot. Although it is a convenient location, it is not the safest neighborhood at night. Rooms are spacious and clean but basic and no frills. With rose colored walls, dark carpet, basic wood furniture, patterned bedspreads, and generic artwork, the rooms have a dated look. Each room has a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and free Wi-Fi. Outside of the bathroom is a vanity area with a mirror, sink, and small closet. The bathroom itself is the most modern looking part of the room, with contemporary beige tiled floors and walls, a toilet, and shower/tub combo.
