The eastern edge of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which features some of the 2012 Olympic venues, is 10 minutes away by foot. Boleyn Ground (home of West Ham FC) is a 10-minute drive away and Heathrow Airport takes around an hour and a half to reach by car or public transportation.

Standard and Double Deluxe rooms are modern, while the suites have 18th-century decorative elements. Standard rooms run small. Room amenities include mini-fridges, coffee/tea makers, safes, free Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. Wireless keyboards lets guests browse the Internet on TV and change light and air-conditioning settings. Deluxe rooms have bathrobes and slippers, and some rooms and suites have private balconies with chairs and views of Canary Wharf and Newham. Suites also have dressing tables and jetted tubs, but non-suite rooms only have stall showers.
