It's housed in a clean, white Georgian building, and maintains period details such as columns, wrought-iron balconies, and arched windows. Inside, the mood is modern and a touch edgy, with zebra-print carpeting on the stairway, funky, futuristic overhead lamps, and a slick, oversized mirror on the wall. A bucket of wood-handled umbrellas set beside a dark-brown accent wall and an elegant wood bench also lend sophisticated style to the lobby area. Drawing mainly longer-term tourists and some business travelers wanting in-room kitchen facilities, the property focuses on keeping up the beautifully outfitted apartments; there are no real common areas, except for a communal balcony with a few lounge chairs on the fourth floor.
