Parkwood at Marble Arch

A Regency-style, grade two listed townhouse, the Parkwood at Marble Arch has been thoughtfully decorated with floral pattern wallpaper, a red vintage sofa, and a white fireplace. The front desk area is charming and inviting. Free newspapers and artificial flowers are thoughtful touches, though definitely skewed towards an older demographic. The breakfast room is warm and inviting, with wooden tables, and a collection of quirky metal printed artworks on sunflower yellow walls. A bonus sun-filled terrace includes an outdoor table for guests on the hotel's first floor.  

Located a block from Tony Blair's Connaught Square townhouse, the Parkwood at Marble Arch has a multi-million dollar, City of Westminster post code. Positioned on a quiet side street opposite Hyde Park, the hotel is a five-minute walk from the beginning of Oxford Street shopping and Marble Arch station. Guests are a six-minute drive from Buckingham Palace, the residence of the queen, and an eight-minute drive from Westminster Abbey. Guests are within walking distance of St Christopher's Place, an area filled with a range of restaurants. For local nightlife, the ever popular cocktail bars and quintessential English pubs of Soho are a 14-minute drive from the hotel. 

16 small rooms at the Parkwood Marble Arch are spread over four floors. Each is cleaned daily, and comes with ample wardrobe space, neutral beige walls, and large windows; some with views of Hyde Park. The mostly beige bathrooms are clean, with wall-mounted hairdryers, and small corner showers. All rooms include coffee- and tea- making facilities, an in-room safe, and flat-screen TVs with Freeview channels. Linens, towels, and toiletries are provided in all rooms. Ironing boards and fans can be arranged for guests via reception. Room configurations include Family, Standard Double, and Standard Twin rooms with private en-suite bathrooms and two Single Rooms on the fourth floor with shared bathroom facilities. Rooms are not fitted with air-conditioning and there's no elevators access in the hotel. 

A free full English breakfast includes unlimited bacon, eggs, sausages, baked beans, and cooked tomatoes. Fresh fruit, cereals, toast, and jams are also available. There are no lifts on the premises, no on-site parking, and no air-conditioning available. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
