The 65-room Lac Salin Spa and Mountain Resort is a relatively upscale hotel set on the edge of Livigno town center in the Italian Alps. The Eastern-inspired spa provides an impressive range of chakra-based treatments and plenty of private space to unwind. The heated indoor pool is larger than most. Rooms are modern, with furnished balconies and mountain views. Some interiors, however, are lacking a certain coziness and rates aren't that cheap, so if you're looking for somewhere with a bit more alpine charm try Hotel Capriolo across the road.
