This 50-room hotel is located in a quiet residential area north of the city center, two blocks from the Anjos metro station and a short walk from the airport bus stop. While the hotel is not as luxurious as the name suggests, and has no amenities aside from a lobby bar, it does offer great value for budget travelers. Rooms are pretty stylish for a mid-range hotel, with large headboards and crisp white linens. They come with solid amenities such as flat-screen TVs, empty mini-fridges, and free Wi-Fi. But rooms and bathrooms are small, and the neighborhood is not as nice as other areas nearby.
Location
In Anjos, a residential neighborhood a couple of metro stops away from the city center
The hotel is located on a tree-lined street in Anjos neighborhood, a somewhat rundown part of town north of the city center. There are a couple of restaurants and a few local shops, but no attractions can be reached on foot--unless you're ready to walk half an hour. While the area is not as attractive as other neighborhoods west and south of the hotel, it is a decent base for exploring Lisbon, as there is metro and bus service nearby. The Anjos metro station is a couple of blocks from the hotel, and the airport bus stop is just a 10-minute walk away, on Saldanha Square.- 12-minute drive to Lisbon Portela Airport
