The EPIC SANA Lisboa Hotel sits on a fairly busy road, about a 12-minute walk from Marques de Pombal Square, and 15 minutes on foot from the luxury shopping at Avenida da Liberdade. The area immediately around the hotel is filled with other mid-rise buildings and larger residential buildings. The smaller streets around the Rato metro stop provide some boutique shopping and restaurants are within a 15-minute walk. Guests should note that coming back to the hotel requires a slight uphill climb. There are several bus lines within a couple of blocks, and those wishing to take public transportation to the airport can catch a bus that stops a few hundred feet from the hotel (about 35 minutes).
