Corinthia Hotel Lisbon

This five-pearl hotel features chic and luxurious decor throughout its spacious common areas. The chic, blue-hued lobby is filled with plush armchairs, patterned carpets, and large pieces of art adorning the walls. Cream-colored sofas dotted with yellow pillows complement the blue hues.  The Lounge Bar is similar in style to the lobby with a blue and gray color scheme and blue carpet with tan leaf designs.The Sete Colinas restaurant has a lot of wooden pieces such as wooden floors, a breakfast bar, and tables, though vibrant red padding on wooden chairs bring a bright pop of color to the room. A large and attractive outdoor area at the back of the property has trim green lawns studded with trees and flowers that overlook furnished patios. The hotel is imbued with an upscale and romantic atmosphere, which mainly draws couples, though business travelers are also well catered for.

Corinthia Hotel Lisbon is conveniently located near Lisbon's Sete Rios train and bus station, which is about a block away. Though a bit removed from the city center, about a 30-minute walk away or 20 minutes by public transport, the hotel is still walking distance to several attractions. The Lisbon Zoo is a seven-minute walk from the hotel, and the Gulbenkian Museum is a 13-minute walk away. Most of Lisbon's top attractions can easily be reached by public transportation, with the nearest metro station (Jardim Zoológico) being a six-minute walk away. There are some dining options on surrounding streets that are within a five-minute walk. The Lisbon Portela Airport is about a 10-minute drive away. 

The hotel offers a variety of rooms and suites, all of which feature chic decor with a stylish mauve and gold color scheme and handsome wooden furniture. Floor-to-ceiling windows illuminate the spaces with light and are shrouded in gold-hued curtains, while large circular mirrors with decorative gold frames hang above the beds. Fresh purple orchids are a nice touch. All rooms also have plush armchairs as well as large work desks. Other amenities include flat-screen TVs, coffee/tea-makers, safes, plush robes, and well-stocked minibars. Family Rooms and the Presidential Suite have an additional bedroom and bathroom. Suites have a separate living room, while the Presidential Suite also has a dining area and full kitchen. Top-floor rooms offer spectacular views of Lisbon. Luxurious marble bathrooms are quite spacious and have bidets, shower/tub combos, and hairdryers, while the Presidential Suite has a separate shower and a deep tub. 

Corinthia Hotel Lisbon provides a combination of business amenities and a host of relaxing features. Business features include a variety of meeting spaces with views of the 18th-century Aqueduct, a business center, and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The beautiful Acqua Area requires a fee to access and includes a spa, pool, hot tub, sauna, steam bath, and sensory showers. The full service spa offers skin and body treatments and massages. A large indoor heated pool and hot tub are illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights, plus the surrounding wooden sundeck is lined with lounge chairs. Guests must wear bathing caps, however, when using these facilities (available for purchase from the hotel). There’s also a light and airy fitness center with a wide variety of modern cardio and weight machines, exercise balls, mats, and free weights.

The hotel offers a wide variety of dining options beyond 24-hour room service. Sete Colinas is a breakfast room that serves a breakfast buffet (for a fee) in the mornings.The Terrace Lounge, an attractive outdoor courtyard with seating, and the Lobby Lounge are two areas where guests can enjoy drinks, snacks, or light meals. Some complaints have been made about the service in the restaurants, however. The Executive Club Lounge is available to those with upgraded rooms (or for an additional fee) and offers an exclusive lounge, a free breakfast buffet, drinks and snacks, a welcome drink, and free use of a boardroom for one hour. Guests can use an on-site parking garage or book a private airport transfer for a fee.
