Scene
Modern tourist hotel with seasonal pool, spa, and nearby beach
The Virgilio Grand's beige-floored lobby has a flat-screen TV, red, blue, and beige sofas, colorful art on the walls, and glass display cases with art pieces. Guests gather in the lobby and out beside the seasonal pool area, where there's also a hot tub, a poolside bar, and a deck with lounge chairs. The hotel caters primarily to leisure travelers, who are drawn to the hotel because of its recreation facilities and nearby beach, but large meeting rooms means that the Virgilio can -- and does -- accommodate business travelers.
